Customs clearance

Customs clearance is an activity carried out by participants of foreign economic activity with the goal of moving goods and vehicles across the customs border.

All cargo that passes the Russian border goes through customs clearance, both during export (export from the territory of Russia) and during import (import into the territory of Russia).

This procedure is required regardless of the type of transport selected for international shipment (sea, road, rail, air or multimodal).
